Why we exist
Bloom was founded by Thomaz Figueiredo, a branding and design expert with a passion for helping small businesses in Ottawa and the surrounding area grow through clear, creative, and affordable design solutions.
After years working in global corporate creative roles, Thomaz launched Bloom to make high-quality branding, logo design, and websites more accessible to small and medium-sized businesses. Many of these services are often out of reach due to cost, complexity, or lack of guidance — Bloom exists to change that.
We believe great design should feel personal, practical, and powerful.
Bloom is more than a creative agency, it’s our way of using our experience, empathy, and creativity to give back to our local community and make a real impact.
How we got here
Thomaz builds a few brands and websites as a side job.
Demand ramps up, with 7 projects completed.
Thomaz officially launches Brandish, a creative agency in São Paulo.
Thomaz and family move to Canada. Brandish operations and customer support continue for another year.
Thomaz and his wife focus on corporate jobs for a few years to gain experience, exposure and build their life in Canada.
The family moves to rural Ontario and the passion to cater to local businesses starts to *Bloom*.
Thomaz quits his day job and Bloom is officially born.
